Noticeboard

Information in the NHS, better information means better care.

http://www.england.nhs.uk/ourwork/tsd/care-data/

Sharing information in the NHS helps ensure that the quality and safety of services is consistent across the country. It can also highlight different diseases and conditions that may require more NHS investment. This is an opportunity for each of us to help the NHS provide high quality care for all.

You can find out more about how information is used for purposes beyond your direct care, the benefits this bring and the choices you have available to you by watching our short video. (click on the link above) This video is hosted on NHS England’s YouTube channel. If you have difficulty viewing it, you can also see it on NHS Choices.

Patient Update

We recently sent all our registered patient households a newsletter where we explained our intention to join together with a larger NHS healthcare organisation; Symphony Healthcare Services (SHS).  We are pleased and proud to confirm that we are now part of the SHS network of GP practices and are looking forward to working with our NHS colleagues across the organisation.

As a patient you don’t need to take any action and you can contact us on the same phone number, or pop in to see the reception team. Dr Austin and the team will continue to work at the surgery and will be supported by a larger team within SHS.

For more information please visit: www.symphonyhealthcareservices.com or speak to the reception team if you have a question or query.  Thank you.

The dispensary is located within the lobby of the main entrance.

We have installed a new telephone system which we hope will improve access.  Please note that all telephone calls are now recorded. We offer face to face appointments with a range of health care professionals, telephone consultations & nurse triage.

We produce a quarterly newsletter with useful information & forthcoming events. The newsletter can be picked up at reception or you may subscribe to the electronic version by following the link below.

At all face to face consultations from Monday 1st December 2014 you will be asked to complete a Friends & Family survey, this is a NHS England initiative and we ask that patients co-operate with the survey.  You can complete the survey at the surgery by posting the form in the survey box provided, you can use the IPad in reception or complete online by clicking on the link on this website.
