Sharing information in the NHS helps ensure that the quality and safety of services is consistent across the country. It can also highlight different diseases and conditions that may require more NHS investment. This is an opportunity for each of us to help the NHS provide high quality care for all.
You can find out more about how information is used for purposes beyond your direct care, the benefits this bring and the choices you have available to you by watching our short video. (click on the link above) This video is hosted on NHS England’s YouTube channel. If you have difficulty viewing it, you can also see it on NHS Choices.
The dispensary is an important part of our business. We aim to complete repeat prescriptions within 48 working hours.
The preferred way to order your prescription is online through EMIS ACCESS please register for this service by contacting the reception. Access via the link at the bottom of the home page.
While we take orders over the telephone between 11am & 3pm, Please note that all calls will be recorded. We prefer that order slips are posted, faxed, handed in at the surgery or the local pharmacies or sent using the online form below. This gives us a record of the order. Patient ID is a 4 or 5 digit number, top right of repeat form
Regretfully we are unable to dispense to patients that live within a mile of a chemist.
Please allow yourself plenty of time to order repeat prescriptions, for a telephone request phone 01460 52469 only between the hours of 11.00am and 3.00pm, giving 2 working days notice.
If you are non-dispensing and wish your prescription to be posted out to you, please send a stamped, addressed envelope. Most non-dispensing prescriptions are now sent electronically to the chemist of your choice. Please let the dispenser know your preference.

Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
From 1 April 2018, the charges are:
If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months, or more than 13 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC. The charge for a single prescription item is £8.80, whereas a three month PPC will cost you £29.10 and a 12 month PPC £104.00.
There is further information about prescription exemptions and fees on the NHS website
