We offer a range of private services that attract a fee.
Private medical examinationsA 30 minute appointment should be requested for: HGV & PSV medical, Life Insurance, pre-employment. Elderly drivers.
Standard fee applies and are payable in advance.
The current list of fees for services can be found displayed in reception and are available from the Practice Manager. These include:
Travel Advice: A fee is made for administering and supplying some travel vaccinations. The Practice Nurse will advise you beforehand of our charges. Contact the surgery for a travel advise information form to complete & return prior to your appointment.
We will telephone or text your results after 2pm.
You will not hear from us if the result is normal or you are receiving the right treatment. For confidentiality results can only be given to the person concerned.
Should you wish to contact the surgery regarding a blood or specimen result please telephone AFTER 3pm. We will ask the Nurse or GP to phone you back if they are unavailable to take your call.
You can register for EMIS online and view your own results, please ask at reception.
Dr Saintey is able to fit & remove Nexplanon implants a long acting contraception device. Please ensure you see the GP before making an appointment for fitting.
Dr Saintey is able to fit & remove contraceptive coils (IUDs), she requires an HCA to assist with fitting and therefore can only offer this service by booked appointment after initial counselling consultation. Please see you GP to discuss beforehand.
There is a community midwife that runs a clinic every Tuesday at the surgery from 9am-1pm.
If you have recently found out you are expecting, please click on the link to fill in a self referral form. This will be sent to the midwifes, who will get in contact with you to book in your first appointment.
