Information in the NHS, better information means better care.

Sharing information in the NHS helps ensure that the quality and safety of services is consistent across the country. It can also highlight different diseases and conditions that may require more NHS investment. This is an opportunity for each of us to help the NHS provide high quality care for all.

You can find out more about how information is used for purposes beyond your direct care, the benefits this bring and the choices you have available to you by watching our short video. (click on the link above) This video is hosted on NHS England’s YouTube channel. If you have difficulty viewing it, you can also see it on NHS Choices.

Patient Group

We are looking for patients to join our Patient Group.  If you would like to be involved in changes taking place within the surgery or services we offer please let the Reception staff know, alternatively email us:

The chair of the PPG is Ian Hawkins and he attends the Somerset PPG chairs meetings.

We hope to start having quarterly meetings again and would be interested in knowing the best time you could attend:  Mornings, afternoon, evening, lunchtime?

The group will have regular meetings and will be able to advise the practice of ideas for services, have a say in the design of facilities or services, act as a soundboard for the surgery for ideas we may have.

To find out more ask at the reception, or visit the National Association of Patient participation Groups website
