Information in the NHS, better information means better care.

Sharing information in the NHS helps ensure that the quality and safety of services is consistent across the country. It can also highlight different diseases and conditions that may require more NHS investment. This is an opportunity for each of us to help the NHS provide high quality care for all.

You can find out more about how information is used for purposes beyond your direct care, the benefits this bring and the choices you have available to you by watching our short video. This not only includes the management of illness but also an effective preventative care policy. Please co-operate with the receptionist if you are asked for an outline of your problem or illness, This information will help ensure you are made the correct length of appointment with the most appropriate person.
